The Project was implemented from January to June 2014 and was funded by the MCB Forward Foundation.

Some 20,000 mangrove seedlings were planted on the site.
A sensitisation programme for children of Standard IV to VI on aspects of sustainable development was organised for school children of Standard IV to VI.
Competition on drawing, debate, quiz and essay on appropriate themes was organised.
The school activities were carried out in collaboration with Bureau de l'Education Catholique, the PTA, and the support of the Headmaster and Teachers.
A beach Cleaning Campaign was organised on 18 August 2013 in collaboration with the Case Noyale Village Council, Black River District Council and Lion’s Club of Black River.
Some 15 workers were involved in the Project.
The information materials included a flyer related to mangroves, a photographic booklet.
In collaboration with the Case Noyale School Authority some decorative and endemic plants were planted and distributed. The Forest Department had provided most of the plants.
