Closing Ceremony of Sandwatch Programme at Sir Lekraz Teelock SSS

The closing ceremony of the Sandwatch Programme was held at Sir Lekraz Teelock SSS on 30 October 2020.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of the Project in spite of the constraints imposed by Covid-19.

The success of the project was due to several stakeholders. ADD played the crucial role in galvanising the efforts.

Among the stakeholders and the participants at the ceremony were:

Representative, Albion Fisheries Research Centre of the Ministry of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping

Mr S. Ragoonaden, President Association pour le Développement Durable (ADD)

Rectors Sir Lekraz Teelock SSS:

·         Mr. Panday who initiated the programme

·         Mr. Oodit who ensured the continuation

·         Mr Lalchand Ag. Rector who led to its completion

Educators in particular Mr Oozeer for supervision of students.

Mr Lalchand presided over the closing ceremony.
