Since July 2011, ADD has been granted Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNECOSOC).
ADD is affiliated to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) whose Secretariat is in Bonn, Germany

Under the CSR Scheme
The Association is registered under the Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme
(No. 1025) and has implemented two major Projects so far. The major sponsor of ADD’s environment protection projects is the MCBFF Foundation. ADD has also received funds from Robert Le Maire Ltd. and the Dry Cleaning Services Ltd for environmental activities.
National
The Association is registered with MACOSS and the Municipality of Quatre Bornes. It maintains contacts with the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development.
 Private sector
ADD has been working closely with the private sector in the context of the CSR mentioned above. For example, in the context of the Quatre Soeurs Project, ADD collaborated with Anahita and Ferme Marine de Mahebourg.
